The passion flower is native to the americas named for its resemblance to christ's crown of thorns in christian theology. As an herbal remedy, it has been used for hundreds of years for its psychoactive properties. I personally enjoy them as space walking cosmonauts from an early childhood love of photography, NASA, and algorithms. Space walking passion flowers would seem to be a logical next step.
